time to go;

I'm counting down the days to head back to HOME. I really cannot wait. The cravings that I have are getting worse. As of now, i have 15 more days till my last day at World of Disney - Oct 1st, and another 18 more days till I fly back to Singapore. I started packing some of my stuff, well, mostly the gifts and I'm panicking! I don't think I have enough room for all the stuff to fit.

Well, New York City was amazingly-fantastic! See how I put those 2 words together? Yes, it was that G-R-E-A-T! After being there, I just had the weirdest idea. My plan was to further my studies in NYU and I could get a part-time job with Abercrombie & Fitch. Weird ain't it?

Will I miss the people I met throughout the program, HELL YES! These people are like a family to me here, especially my WOD SQUAD. As much as I don't want to leave them, I have to coz I miss home tremendously. I must admit tho that I wouldn't border getting to know the newbies as I'm not gonna see them anymore. Plus, some of them, gosh they are soo darn rude! I had a new cast member whom I met in the bus and she came up to me and said "Hey! What time you start work today!?" I was startled by the way she approached me and the first thing that came to my mind was "BITCH!" Seriously, who would do that! Especially when you are new. I would never come up to someone and say such thing.

Whatever, some people are just sick in the head. Talking about work, I am not making any money at all! I mean, I have been getting like 6 hours everyday, 30 hours every week, how am I going to earn! They have been putting tonnes of new people in our store when they don't need to! I mean, there are other stores that need people more than we do. Screw that, I'm not going to borther about it anymore. Seriously, with me leaving and stuff, my heart is no longer at work. I am sooo ready to go home.

New York trip on the 3rd to 6th of September. Yes, I will have to go through the first week of Ramadhan in the Big Apple. Am sooo excited! Going with my "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" gang. I love u girls soo much!

There are too many things that we wanna do there:

museum trips, broadway shows, time square, central park, statue of liberty, subway rides, and sooo much more! don't forget shopping too!

I am soo soo sorry for the super-late update. I've been very busy with work, homework and soo much more! So many has happened and my life has turned upside down. Okay, I have been working late shifts latey - 7pm to 1am. That means, short hours, less pay, I am really getting poorer and poorer every week.

August is coming by soon. It really amazes me how time flies. By the time I knew it, we are now coming to our 17th week - soo fast! Honestly, I am really not ready to head back home yet. Not that I don't miss home (i really miss Singapore tonnes), but I don't want to live everything that i have down here. I'll miss all my friends from the College Program, friends at WOD, all my "aunties" and "uncles" at WOD, Roxy (which turned me around), and of course, who could ever forget Vista Way. I will definitely miss the life in Vista Way - with all the crazy people around, going to the pool for a tan and swim on weekends, and just bumping into people that you know all around just makes you feel oh-soo-great!

Well, I guess I'm going to miss the first week of Raya. We are plannig to extend our stay in the States for another week. Probably heading to LA for 3 days and another 4 days in NYC. *can't waitt*

I have to admit, I have not been blogging at all. All I did are just putting up pictures. Now, let me talk about my daily routine here, in Orlando. I will have to work from Sunday to Thursday, and my off days are on Fridays and Saturdays. For those of you who do not know, I work in 'World of Disney', located at Downtown Disney. Mind you, Disney World is sooo much bigger than Singapore, it is TWICE the size of Manhattan, New York! The store that I'm working is a huge store that sells EVERYTHING to do with Disney. Whatever you are looking for, you name it, we have it. Located inside the store, is a boutique called 'Bibidi Babidi Boutique', where many little girls LOVE to go and turn into a princess! Everytime I see them, I told myself, why can't I have that opportunity during my time, coz I think now is a little too late.

Honestly, I love being here. Really, I do. For those of you who does not know, I was SUPER homesick when I just arrived. But now I'm all set and NOT wanting to go home, YET! For the FIRST time, I need not worry about what time to get home, that's for sure. I can just go to Walmart at 12 midnight and not having to tell anybody, except my friends of course. But I do miss the feeling of getting scolded or "lecture" from my parents. That can be a little tiring to listen to, but I miss all that.

During my Off Days, all of us, will start planning to which park in Disney we should go and SHOPPING. So far, I have been to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios / MGM Studios. I have not been to Animal Kingdom and Epcot, which I think we should start going people! Here, I ENJOY shopping alot! Not that I don't enjoy shopping in Singapore, its just that the stuff here are all sooo cheap! When I say stuff, things like FCUK, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and GUESS. Also, I have got LOADS of new brands that are now in my favourite list - AEROPOSTALE, HOLLISTER, BODY CENTRAL, Wetseal, Charlotte Russe, Rue 21, Papaya and soooo much more! Shopping is DEFINITELY the best theory ever! Its a form of rewarding yourself for working so hard, hence, in return, you spend! I just spent around US $120 last Saturday when we went shopping at Prime Outlet - felt GOOOOOD!

We have classes every Saturdays at Rosen College, UCF. The interior structure of the school is GORGEOUS, you will feel that you are entering into a resort! For this term, I am taking Hospitality Brand Management and Leadership and Strategic Management. What I like about the classes here is that, it involves discussions, opinions, debates, than the usual taking-down-notes style.

Oh ya! I am going to Miami next week, from the 19th to 21st May! I sooo can't wait! My cousin sister from London is visiting me and we're gonna tour around South Miami! Yeahhh!!! Get your bathing suit on! Woohoooo!!!

Guess my life is not that LAME after all. :)

This is the best ride ever! The Twin Tower of Terror! Go check it out on the net. It's like an elevator that will drop from the top level and you get to see every level of the "Haunted Hotel" when you fall. It tops any other rides I have ever taken in my life! Also, go check out Rock 'n' Roll Roller Coaster = AWESOME!!!!

Been really busy lately. I'm not really having a "life" here yet. Everyday, its just morning activities, then in the afternoon will be a trip to Walmart to shop for groceries (like auntie) and then at night will shop-shop-shop at Factory Outlet.

I'm telling you I'm out of control of my finance coz everything is soooooo cheap here! And I'm not saying just anything, I bought clothes like from Tommy Hilfiger, FCUK, Guess, Hollister and a whole load more!! SUPER cheap!!! Oh, Polo Ralph Lauren and A&F will be next on my list. Love the things here! Those brands that I just mentioned, uhuhh...yep, gonna buy all those stuff back home. I think I might just throw away all the clothes that I brought here. I mean, come on! Its sooooo cheap! And yes, I already have a Tommy Hilfiger top, which in Singapore, I will not even step into in the shop.

Went to Walt Disney's World, Magic Kingdom. I literally felt like a 4 year old girl once i step into Magic Kingdom! I wanted everything - candy, ice cream, balloons (cherry bought for 4 of us balloons, sooo nicee!) and mostly, I wanted to hug Mickey! Love every moment of it! We watched the parade and fireworks by the Princess Castle at night, and it was MAGICAL!!!!!

Will be starting on-job training on Monday till Wednesday, and let me tell you, cash register is FUN!

Till then, I miss all of you sooo much!!! Ouh, and aishaBI, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY FRIEND! Really hope I could be there celebrating this day with all of you!

Okay, I have FINALLY pack my luggage. Well, only 1/4 done. Only my bags, linens, photos and half of my toiletries are all in. At least, I have started putting something in. I can't seem to get myself to put my clothings in coz I have to decide what I would have to wear for my remaining days in Singapore. But, at least I have put aside the clothes that I want to bring, and oh boy, I have SOOOO many clothes to bring! I know, I know, all of us agreed on bringing a few clothes and shop-till-we-drop there. I will be "eliminating" some of the clothes in days to come ok!

*oh ya! guys, i'm bringing like 3 bags with me: 1 luggage to be checked in, 1 hand carry and 1 bag pack to carry along on board. how bout yours??

Gosh, its just a week from now. I bet I will not be able to eat or act like a proper human being next week, at this very hour.

All payments are done (thanx cherry) except for my insurance. So Zac, FASTER!!!!

Batam was fab! Had to pamper ourselves and went for a beauty getaway. We did our hair, nails, feet, body massage, facial and SHOPPING!! And yes, we were sinful for consuming all those indulging cravings. What more can a girl ask for! It was nice to spend the whole day with the 2 most important women in my life. Hmphh! Most R♥mantic Wedding Ever! - Zeti & Mesud

Saturday was the Wedding Dinner of my cousin Zeti, with Mesud, an Arab guy. But I have to say he look more like a Caucasian guy. These two met in Germany when they were studying there, which makes their history ever-so-interesting! Ok, I'm a fan of inter-racial marriage, totally!

The part that I love most about their wedding would definitely be their entrance with the golf buggy! (Video 2) Aww...and the song, "I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You" that was played along ushering them in the ballroom, could not make the whole atmosphere any better! I swear I had goosebumps (imagining how mine will be like).

Anyhow, their very first entrance (Video 1) was great too! They were ushered by a group of Malay Dancers and the sound of 'kompang'. Personally, I think it was really nice to have that in portraying the Malay culture and heritage to the groom's side, and yes, there we ALOT of foreigners.

Oh yes! One more thing. Have you ever been to a wedding and got screened before you enter the hall or ballroom? Screen as in Police Officers to conduct security checks on you head-to-toe and in your bags as well? Well, I've been there. Before we were allowed to enter into the ballroom, there were police officers stationed to screened us all. Why!? Because our Prime Minister, Mr Lee Sian Long is the VIP of the wedding. Apart from that, there were other ministers who attended the wedding as well. How WOW can the wedding get right? Ok, my uncle, which is the bride's father works for our PM, which makes the PM his boss. So that's why this wedding was a little special. And my family, being the KIASU people they are, including myself, wanted to take a shot with the PM, and so we did! When else will we be able to grab the chance!

All in all, personally, I think this wedding will definitely be remembered by everybody who attended it.

Finally, I did not spend my day at home the whole of today. Woke up super early to have breakfast cum lunch with family at Hajah Maimunah's. Then head to Joo Chiat Complex to do some shopping, more like my sister did. My dad wanted to get ME a new set of Kebaya for my cousin's wedding but I refused. Why did i refuse his offer!? Now I feel like shit. Instead, my sister got my dad to get her not 1, but 2 set of Kebayas can! NOT FAIR! She's already working, why get my dad to buy her things! Ok, at least my dad did asked if I wanted one, but I'm just not up for it.

Ayah asked, "Girl, you want the Kebaya? Go and choose what you want lah."
I answered, "No, I want a car. Buy for me Volkswagen Beetle. Err...the colour, either yellow or red lah. Haven't decide yet. When you going to buy for me, tell me then I decide on the colour ok!"

How stupid can I get! Come to think of it, a car is wayy better than some Kebaya right?

Anyways, then head back home, changed and met up with NORA baby. Hell of fun as usual!

Disney Dream

My departure is less than a month's time and we still have yet to receive our visa. All I hope for, the trip will not be delayed. To add to that, I have not plan on the things to bring, which means I have NOT pack my stuff yet! My mum's kept pushing me on packing my luggage, but I'm just too lazy.

Anyways, was video chatting with Fai yesterday and I told him about my crazy thought (thought? more like a crazy dream). I don't want to sound cliche, but yes, everyone has their own HUGE dream that they wish they could own it. Mine would be that, Ive always wanted to be one of Disney's casts. Mind you, we will be considered as their "cast members" when we start our internship. That's what they call their "staff=casts", get it? But I want to be their real, CAST member. Ok, all this madness started when I was hooked up to Disney's Channel, That's So Raven. I've been wishing I could be one of those people on TV. Crazy as it seems, YES, that's my dream.

I want to be part of that!

I heard Disney has already conducted auditions for High School Musical 3. So yes, guess I've missed out on that. But I really hope when I'm there, they will start conducting auditions for High School Musical 4 or something. I would DIE to join that! OMG! Ok, I know this is too much, but I would not waste it right! Since I'm already there and everything, who would miss on that! Adore all those singing, dancing and acting. Remember the Breaking Free video Zac, Fai, Joce and myself did? (SY, i want see!) Haha! Let's have our own musical!

Actually it does not matter, whether its High School Musical or not, I'm gonna join in any auditions that's there to join. Yes, I'm darn serious.

Fai laughed at me when I told him about it, idiot! Zac, i bet when you read this, you'll go like "Bimbi!", and yes, Shu Yi will think of that too. All in all, I'm happy that I'm gonna be a part of Disney. Be it through the hospitality or through entertainment, LOVE it!

i failed my traffic police test!

was very lucky to get a nice tester, but i screwed up.

I've had enough crying (till my eyes turned swollen). No more regrets, no more sadness. Sometimes I think things happen for a reason. Maybe it wasn't meant for me, yet. Like what Ayah said, "You're still young. There is no need to rush things and get your license so fast." True enough I'm still young. I've got all other things in life to look out for apart from this darn license. Besides I'm not the only one who failed in their first try (Thanks Fai). I'll have to wait till I come back on October to continue on my driving lessons. Thank you so much to those who have wished me luck and everything. Thank you Mama and Ayah for encouraging me and the fact that you two also failed in your first try, i felt so much better!
